To become a member, you are required to open a savings account. An initial $5.00 deposit is required to open the account.

To open your account, we will need

1. Proof of Identity - A valid Driver's License, State Issued ID, Military ID, or a valid US Passport for each account holder.

2. Proof of Residency - A copy of a utility bill, or another form of approved documentation to prove your residency, if the address on your driver's license is not correct.

3. Proof of Eligibility - Verification that you Live, Work (paystub), Attend School (School ID or letter of enrollment) or Worship (Membership letter or giving statement from church) in Hall or Jackson County.

Member Referral Program

Already a happy member of Lanier Federal Credit Union? Want to spread the word about how much you enjoy being a member? Well, we want to say 'Thank You' and show you our appreciation. LFCU now offers a referral program.

For each referral that opens a base membership account, you will receive a $10 deposit into your account!. Referral amount and program are subject to change without notice.

Referrer must be a Primary Account Holder with Lanier Federal Credit Union. The person must be at least 18 years old to participate in the program.
Applicant must be at least 18 years old, eligible, and qualify for membership. To obtain the prize applicant must:
Become a member of Lanier Federal by opening a Base Savings Account with a minimum of $5.00

To receive prize, account must be in good standing, with deposit balances above zero dollars, any applicable loan payments current, and all accounts in compliance with any other terms, conditions and governing requirements. Monetary prizes earned through this promotion are subject to IRS reporting. Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is a service to transfer individual payroll funds by the employer to the employee's savings or checking account. Social Security and other pension checks are eligible to be deposited directly.

You don't waste time waiting in lines to deposit checks. You reduce the risk of mail fraud. You have immediate access to your money!

Please check with your payroll department to find out if your employer supports direct deposits and what information is needed to start one.

Employers commonly require the following:

Account Number: Depending on the account you wish to deposit it in (Checking, Savings, etc.). This can be found on your statements or online banking.
A voided check
LFCU Routing Number: 261173352

You will not be able to set up payroll deduction for loans, but auto-payments are available for set up through online banking.
